The day you left

Never thought to say "Good-bye"
While words remained unspoken and you
leave me. Life can't be steered on false
And I want to come clean at last.
But I always thought good about you;
though truth is always bitter-
If you find your way,
and want to enjoy your drink of your own;
there is no harm, there is no hard feelings
at all. Eyes were dry, perhaps you have seen.
But heart was weeping silently!
I have tried my best but failed;
so left you with your choice dear!
The day you left, I remained silent;
just to move with dignity, nothing else.
